Citytv cameraman Bill Atanasoff is in serious condition in Sunnybrook Hospital after being struck by a car while covering a story.

Atanasoff and other journalists were on a call by Toronto’s Special Investigations Unit when he was hit by a Lincoln Continental driven by a 68-year-old male. The driver was arrested by police on scene.

Atanasoff, 58, is a veteran cameraman with 30 years in the field.
