Ryan FitzGerald to Best Boy Entertainment

Former Rogue Nation Studios’ boss Ryan FitzGerald has crossed the country to join indie producer Best Boy Entertainment

 as vice president of Interactive.

FitzGerald, a former president and CEO of Rogue Nation and executive director of Fortune Cat Games Studio, both in Winnipeg, will bring his transmedia talents to the St. John’s, Newfoundland-based TV and film production outfit.

“We are very happy to have someone with Ryan’s creative capabilities lead our newest and most exciting division,” Ed Martin, Best Boy founder and executive producer, said in a statement.

Best Boy is best known for its Mickey and The Horse series for the Pet Network, the Soccer Shrines series for GOLTV and What Do They Do In There? for NTV.

The indie producer is currently at work on Pet ER for the Pet Network, and Gamblers Never Die, a feature film based on the stage play of the same name, written by Ed Martin.
