UK channel CBBC has re-upped the Temple Street Productions tween comedy Wingin’ It for a second season as part of a deal by international distributor BBC Worldwide.
CBBC aired the first season of the adventures of Carl Montclaire and Angel-in-training Porter Jackson, played by Dylan Everett and Demetrius Joyette, respectively.
The first two seasons of Wingin’ It have also been picked up by Noga in Israel, Norway’s NRK Super and Top TV in South Africa.
“The first series of Wingin’ It proved a big hit with the CBBC audience and we’re delighted to be able to bring series two back to CBBC where our viewers can follow the hilarious adventures of Carl and Porter.” CBBC controller Damian Kavanagh said in a statement.
Wingin’ It was created by Frank van Keeken (The Kids in the Hall, Billable Hours), who executive produced the series with Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier.
