With a focus on 3D and HD TV programming, prodco and distributor Canamedia has appointed Daniel D’Or to the position of senior executive producer.

His new role will see him leading the development and growth of the company’s newly restructured production unit. Canamedia was recently acquired by Distribution Access.

D’Or comes to the prodco with more than 25 feature film and TV shows under his belt, including 40-plus eps of sci-fi series Starhunter and the creation of/production on Fraud Squad. He was also owner and operator of Ryan Helicopters for aerial cinematography. He’s since turned his focus to 3DTV, with several projects currently in production.

Canamedia has been bolstering its team, having recently appointed Mike Lolato to managing director.
