Bush takes best short for Pawnshop

Halifax filmmaker Andrew Bush has won the A&E Short Filmmakers Award at the NSI Online Short Film Festival for his film Pawnshop. The award comes with a $2,500 cash prize.

Bush is a member of the comedy troupe Picnicface and has been nominated for two Geminis – once in 2000 for his performance on Street Cents, and again in 2008 for writing on This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
