Maple will tell Little White Lies

Maple Pictures has picked up the Canadian rights to Guillaume Canet’s Little White Lies from EuroCorps.

An early 2011 theatrical release is planned after the French film bowed on September 11 at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The drama about old friends at a beachhouse stars Marion Cotillard, Benoît Magimel and François Cluzet.

Little White Lies is a modern-day The Big Chill. The strength of its performances will undoubtedly make it a crowd favorite,” Maple Films co-president Laurie May said.
