Portfolio International has sold a giant slate of Canadian lifestyle programming to Turkish broadcaster Ares Media for its new lifestyle and kids channel Karamel TV.

Ares Media picked up 157 half hours of the Michael Smith-hosted Chef At Home, 26 half hours of the cooking series It’s Just Food, ten half hours each of Mansions and Real Estate Adventures of Sandy and Maryse, and 65 half hours of Breathing Space Yoga.

“Karamel TV is a unique service for Turkey and we are delighted that so many of our popular Canadian-produced lifestyle series were chosen for its launch, ” Joy Rosen, co-president of Portfolio Entertainment, said in a statement.
