Canuck scribe Rob Sheridan has been picked up as a senior writer by CBS’s mid-season, half-hour comedy pick up, Mad Love. Sheridan will take the title of co-executive producer.

Sheridan has previously worked on 18 to Life, Less Than Kind, Little Mosque, Naked Josh, The Red Green Show and Corner Gas – the last of which won him both a Canadian Comedy Award and a WGC Screenwriting Award. He was also nominated for a WGC Award for his work on Naked Josh.

Sheridan’s existing development deal with Warner Bros. Television will roll over into next year to accommodate the Mad Love schedule.
