He’s only 27-years-old, but Jay Baruchel is already being honored with ACTRA Montreal’s award of excellence for his body of work, the organization announced on Thursday.

The Montreal native is being recognized for a banner year that included roles in feature films such as comedy She’s Out of My League, Jacob Tierney’s The Trotsky and Notre Dame de Grace, the Disney adaptation The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and How to Train Your Dragon.

Previous award winners include William Shatner, Vlasta Vrana, Walter Massey and Ranee Lee.

The awards ceremony will take place in Montreal on Sept. 11.
