Universal on board E1’s Shattered

Universal Networks International is again partnering with E1 Entertainment, this time on the cop drama Shattered, for which it recently acquired foreign pay TV rights.

E1 retains worldwide distribution rights to the Vancouver-shot series (co-produced with Force Four Entertainment) while UNI will broadcast Shattered on Universal Channel and 13th Street Universal. The show is set to debut Friday nights on Global in the fall, and stars Callum Keith Rennie (Battlestar Galactica) as a former star cop, now a damaged recluse, who solves crimes through the use of his multiple-personality disorder.

The global channels division of NBC Universal is also collaborating on E1’s Haven, the new suspense series from Stephen King – which will air in July on Showcase – and its other cop drama Rookie Blue, premiering on Global later this month.
