E1 Entertainment reached out to Paris to land its new managing director for E1 Kids: industry veteran Olivier Dumont.

For the last five years, Dumont has been MD of TV Loonland, creating properties for international audiences and developing licensing and merchandising brands. He brings extensive international experience to the table. Prior to Loonland, Dumont served as MD of SIP Animation, worked in distribution at Europe Images International, and even spent time on the broadcast side of things at Canal J.

He will report to E1 Television CEO, John Morayniss, and will oversee all the commercial and creative activities of E1 Kids’ combined operations, including development, production, sales, licensing and merchandising. Dumont will also continue to oversee development and production at Frog Box, a company he founded that has an exclusive distribution agreement with E1.

E1 Kids distributes such titles as Peppa Pig, Majority Rules and Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom.
