The National Film Board has been busy at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and Market.

The NFB has signed a coproduction treaty with Argentine company CT Producciones/Caloi en su Tinta. Under the agreement, consisting of both financial support and access to the NFB’s technical services, a project will be selected for production by December 15 of this year.

The NFB also extended its partnership with French prodco Folimage with the announcement of two new short films for Folimage’s Artist-in-Residence program, namely Le banquet de la concubine by Hefang Wei and Merci mon chien by Julie Rembauville and Nicolas Bianco-Levrin. The films will be the 10th and 11th films produced under the program banner.
