Vanessa Paradis will star in the French-language feature Café de Flore from acclaimed Quebec director Jean-Marc Vallée (C.R.A.Z.Y, The Young Victoria).
Paradis, who is the partner of Johnny Depp, is a well-known actress, singer and model in France. She recently voiced the 3D French animation Un monstre a Paris, which also features Catherine O’Hara.
Café is a supernatural love story set in the 1960s and present day with Paradis playing the mother of a child with Down syndrome. Alliance Vivafilm is the distributor.
