Suicide pact for FarMore

SuicideGirls

FarMore Distribution has taken the international rights to four titles from SuicideGirls.

The Montreal shop said at MIPTV that it has inked a deal for four feature-length titles produced by the site, best known for pin-up photos that cater to alternative tastes. The package includes three recent documentaries, which follow the SGs behind the scenes at their burlesque shows and to a stay at a Tuscany villa, and the new scripted feature SuicideGirls Must Die!, a mock-horror set at a remote cabin.

FarMore, a new arrival on the distribution scene, is headed by president Nathalie Bourdon, formerly of Just for Laughs.

SuicideGirls ‘is a strong brand with high standards which emphasize the importance of being all that you want to be,’ she said in a statement. ‘There are many opportunities with this brand above and beyond television.’

The site began as an online community in 2001 and now draws more than four million unique visitors a month, reaching another three million or more through MySpace, Facebook and Twitter.
