Germany’s Tele München Group has snapped up the continental Europe rights to E1’s mystery drama series Haven.

The 13 x 60 is based on Stephen King’s novella The Colorado Kid, and stars Emily Rose (Jericho) with Lucas Bryant (Queer as Folk) and Eric Balfour (Six Feet Under).

The deal marks the first time the companies have teamed up outside of Germany. ‘TMG is a powerhouse in Europe with an impressive track record, making them the perfect partners to bring this series to audiences throughout the continent,’ said Peter Emerson, E1 Television International president, in a statement.

E1, which also produced the series, retains the worldwide distribution rights. The TMG deal follows sales to Universal Networks International, Canwest and Syfy.
