Muse has teamed with Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada to distribute the season two DVDs of Durham County.

The two also partnered on the first 6 x 60 season of police series. ‘We will not rest until every household in Canada has Durham County in their DVD library,’ said Rob Herholz, executive director of sales and GM for Anchor Bay’s Canadian division, in a release. ‘It is quite simply one of the best shows out there.’

The series airs on The Movie Network and Movie Central, and has seen international play on pubcaster ABC Australia and Ion Television in the U.S. Season one had the added boost of a summertime run on Global. It stars Hugh Dillon (Flashpoint) and new arrival Michelle Forbes (In Treatment, True Blood).

Muse’s Michael Prupas (Human Trafficking, The Pillars of the Earth) executive produced with Janis Lundman and Adrienne Mitchell of Back Alley Film Productions. Season two is expected on shelves by midsummer.
