The Quebec-born co-star of Passchendaele, Caroline Dhavernas, is starring in an ABC pilot produced by Shonda Rhimes, the woman behind Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice.

The 31-year-old actress is currently shooting Off the Map, a drama about three doctors who leave the U.S. to work in the South American jungle, according to Dhavernas’ Montreal-based agent Olivier Sirois of Opak Media.

‘We are trying to not get too excited. We will see what comes out of it. It’s a good project, but it’s just a pilot, so one never knows what will happen,’ Sirois told Playback Daily.

Dhavernas will play a young doctor who flees the U.S. in the wake of a personal tragedy. Her co-stars are Enrique Murciano (Without a Trace) and Martin Henderson (The Ring). ABC will likely decide whether to run with the series in April.
