Smiley Guy Studios (Odd Job Jack) has partnered with kids content creator Nexus Media in Nova Scotia to produce Pillars of Freedom, a multi-platform interactive series for TVO.

The series will center on two curious dragons in a land that used to enjoy great freedoms, such as flying and fire-breathing, which have withered away due to neglect. They seek to restore these freedoms to all the other dragons in the kingdom and exemplify a hands-on approach to decision-making.

Animated episodes and a website with online games allow viewers to vote and make choices in each story. Each broadcast episode has an unresolved ending that encourages viewers to vote on what the dragons should do next. Over the course of two weeks, kids will learn how each choice moves the story forward.

The online version goes live on Monday, followed by the series, which airs Tuesdays and Thursdays.
