When you like a TV channel a lot, you sing about it, right?
When Discovery Channel asked viewers for video submissions about their favorite shows, two fans responded with such zeal that they composed their own ditty based on the channel’s ‘boom-de-yada’ commercial — and filmed a special-effects-filled video to go along with it.
The video submission was part of Discovery’s ’15 Years of Awesome’ campaign to promote its one-hour anniversary special, airing Jan. 4.
The winning video will be aired during the special, which will be hosted by Daily Planet‘s Jay Ingram and will feature ‘best of’ clips from the show’s 15-year history in Canada, behind the scenes footage, the user-generated video and celebrity well-wishes.
