LOS ANGELES — Brian Valente of Redrock Micro talks up the company’s SLR rigs on the floor of the recent HD Expo — including the front-mounted Event model, the shoulder-mounted Eyespy and its cinema lens adapter, the M2 Encore.

‘You can adapt 35mm lenses to get that depth of field that you’d normally associate with film,’ he says. ‘There are so many video cameras out there and, while DSLRs are exciting, all the features aren’t quite there yet.’
