Talelight Films and cartoon producer Bardel Entertainment have struck a multi-year deal to jointly make movies, TV series and online properties.
The first project from the new Vancouver-based companies is The Library of Eternity, a live-action/animation hybrid series about two teenagers that get lost in classic literary tales.
Talelight co-founder Jeff Richards wrote the script. The pact enables the company to diversify away from movie production as Bardel gets into live-action product.
‘By uniting Talelight Films’ strengths in both project and creative developments with Bardel’s incredible talents, experience and contacts in animation, television and new media, it creates a fantastic synergy between our respective companies,’ Talelight co-founder James Upton said in a statement.
