Sarah Haasz has resurfaced at Astral, where she is now the production executive for original programming at both Family Channel and Playhouse Disney Canada.

The kiddie TV veteran joins the channels after stints at Bardel Entertainment and CBC, both of which followed her reign at Corus Entertainment as production exec for its YTV, Treehouse and Discovery Kids outlets. Haasz promoted to director of original programming at the end of the summer. She will work on series including Baxter, Overruled! , Conner Undercover and the MOW Vacation with Derek.
