HBO has taken one more step into Canada, following a deal with Apple that will see its shows sold through the northern version of iTunes.
The U.S. paycaster this week made programs including Sex and the City, Flight of the Conchords, The Wire and new arrival Eastbound & Down available through the online music and video store.
The episodes go for $2.49 each.
HBO last year launched a Canadian movie channel similar to the U.S. original, working with both The Movie Network and Movie Central.
‘HBO is thrilled to offer many of our most talked about shows on the iTunes Store in Canada,’ said Henry McGee, president of HBO Home Entertainment in a statement.
