LOS ANGELES — Bob McFarlane of ScriptE Systems shows off the New Jersey-based company’s eponymous script supervising and continuity program at the Cine Gear show.

‘It takes you from the beginning of getting the script in Final Draft format… [and] helps you do the breakdown and start logging shots,’ he says. ‘And we save a lot of paper, because at the end of the day the script supervisor can just e-mail those reports out instead of having to print out a bunch of paper and have the production people fax them and copy them and that sort of thing.’
