Passion Distribution has completed an agreement with Paperny Films for distribution of both completed program and format rights to The 100-Mile Challenge, produced for Food Network Canada.
Passion has already sold the series to Discovery’s Planet Green in the U.S. and has confirmed sales in France, Benelux and Asia.
‘We have wanted to work with Paperny Films for some time. Their programming is well produced with an exciting angle that gives it international appeal’ said Sally Miles, Passion CEO, in a statement.
The 100-Mile Challenge, based on the book The 100-Mile Diet, challenges citizens of Mission, a town east of Vancouver, to only eat locally grown food that can be found no further than 100 miles from their home for 100 days.
