W Network is producing two new series, sending Anna & Kristina’s Style Bag and Cupcake Girls to camera this summer.

Style Bag, a working title for the series produced in association with Vancouver’s Worldwide Bag Media, begins production in July. The 26 x 30 will follow shopping experts Anna Wallner and Kristina Mitisic of The Shopping Bags and Anna and Kristina’s Grocery Bag as they get fashion tips from designers and stylists.

Cupcake Girls, produced with Vancouver-based Force Four Entertainment, is a docu-soap that follows the lives of two best friends as they run their bakery and try to build a cupcake empire. The 13-ep half-hour series begins production later this month and premieres early next year.

W Network targets the 25-54 female demo and averages 10 million viewers per month.
