1. I’m a military history buff who is forever searching for history programs on History Television.
2. I continue on with French lessons every Tuesday lunch hour, looking to the future in hopes of settling in the Languedoc Roussillon region of France after my eight-hundredth year of service at the WGC.
3. I capsized and nearly drowned while white-water rafting in the Kicking Horse River after the Banff World Television Festival a few years ago. In a sick form of aversion therapy, I continued white-water trips in Peru, New Zealand and Colorado. This phase may be over as I’m now more likely to choose white wine over white water, and have been making the rounds of wine regions of the world.
