Cineflix Productions has hired Joe Houlihan as its SVP of programming. He will work under president of programming Simon Lloyd, helping to expand the company’s production slate and consolidate recent growths throughout the U.K., U.S. and Canada.

For the last three years, Houlihan was director of programs at Twofour Broadcast where he was responsible for such shows as BBC2’s On Thin Ice and Built from Disaster, seen on Discovery. Prior to Twofour, Houlihan was president of RDF USA. His credits include Wife Swap USA on ABC and Junkyard Wars on TLC.

‘Joe is an exceptional talent. He has an outstanding track record in creating, selling and overseeing returnable hot shows in North America and the U.K. and we are thrilled that he is joining Cineflix,’ said Lloyd in a statement.
