Talalay, Skogland circle Bloodletting

Veterans Rachel Talalay and Kari Skogland are in talks to direct Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures, the one-hour pay-TV drama series from Shaftesbury Films for The Movie Network and Movie Central.

The eight-part series, based on the collection of short stories by writer and emergency room doctor Vincent Lam, is slated to start production later in June.

Talalay last directed episodes of ‘da Kink in My Hair and jPod, while Skogland is best known for her feature film credits which include Fifty Dead Men Walking and The Stone Angel.

Skogland also directed an episode of CTV’s The Listener for Shaftesbury.
