+ One Week has taken in more than $1 million at the Canadian box office since opening March 6. The film, currently playing on 37 screens, was directed by Michael McGowan and stars Joshua Jackson and Liane Balaban.
– The Festival du Film de Tremblant has put the brakes on what would have been its fourth edition, citing the economy as the key factor. Organizers hope to bring it back in 2010, and are in talks with stakeholders.

Producer Jennifer Holness (Love, Sex and Eating the Bones) and director Sudz Sutherland (Guns) will attend with Home Again, while producer Andrew Rosen and writer/star K’naan Warsame bring The River of Blood.
