Zone3 has promoted creative executives André Larin and Michel Bissonnette, with Larin tapped to chair its board, while Bissonnette takes over as president, the Montreal production company announced on Thursday.

Larin — who will keep up executive producer duties — takes the reins from former chairman Charles Sirois, who will continue to sit on the board.

Zone3 says it had a record year in 2008, with revenues totaling $70 million. Its credits include the Quebec box-office hit Dans une galaxie près de chez vous and variety TV shows such as Le moment de vérité.

‘I am pleased with the work we have done to date and especially proud to take on the new challenge of serving as Zone3’s president. The creative talent we have here in Quebec is huge… I hope to be able to further develop it and ensure it is better known throughout Canada and around the world,’ commented Bissonnette in a release.

Meanwhile, Zone3’s Vincent Leduc, Brigitte Lemonde and Luc Benoit will continue to serve in their respective roles as VP of television production, VP of shows, and VP of finance and administration, respectively.
