Moysey shuffled at Canwest

Canwest Global Communications has folded its broadcast digital media assets in with its newspaper digital media division, to be led by recently installed digital media chief Graham Moysey.

Moysey, formerly a top sales executive with Bell Sympatico/MSN, joined Canwest last June as SVP and GM of digital media, in charge of its publishing digital arm. Now settled in at Canwest, he will take charge of the broadcast digital media team to create cross-platform advertising for major corporate clients.

‘A consistent digital strategy across broadcast and publishing is paramount to realizing both synergies and scale,’ Moysey said in a statement.

Moysey will report to Dennis Skulsky, president and CEO of Canwest Publishing.

As part of its continuing foray into digital media to offset declines in its traditional newspaper and conventional TV revenues, Canwest recently appointed a new VP of strategy and product development, Ray Philipose, and a VP and GM of mobile, Paul Burns.
