Citytv has handed the hosting duties of CityLine to one of its own, and on Friday tapped Tracy Moore of BreakfastTelevision to lead the long-running daytime show.

The hiring follows the departure of longtime host Marilyn Denis, now with CTV, and a summer-long casting call for her replacement. Moore has worked on BT and the City news team since 2005, and makes her official debut as host on Oct. 27.

‘She’s the kind of woman that viewers will enjoy spending their morning with and is the perfect girlfriend to our audience,’ says Chrissie Rejman, supervising producer of CityLine. The series is now in its 24th season.
