Veteran TV producer Susan Alexander has left her post as head of drama development at Barna-Alper Productions to join Canwest Broadcasting as a production executive.
Alexander on Monday took on the post of production executive for drama content at Canwest.
Her move from Barna-Alper follows that production house being acquired by Entertainment One as part of the latter’s diversification into TV programming.
Alexander produced the first season of WestWind Pictures’ Little Mosque on the Prairie. Her other TV credits include Designer Guys, Drop the Beat and Side Effects.
