Decode Enterprises has promoted Josh Scherba to VP of distribution, effective immediately.

Scherba, who has been with the company for seven years, will continue to lead the sales team for Decode’s distribution catalogue, which includes programming from Decode Entertainment, Halifax Film and Studio B Productions. The prodcos are all subsidiaries of Halifax-based DHX Media. Scherba was formerly director of sales.

‘I am delighted to announce Josh’s well-deserved promotion which reflects his increased responsibility as we grow our sales business and expand our catalogue of shows,’ commented Decode president Neil Court in a release.

Among the preschool series Decode will be shopping at MIP are Bo on the GO!, Animal Mechanicals and The Mighty Jungle. The distributor will also market new episodes of teen live-action hit Latest Buzz.
