Teletoon goes with Go-Girl

Blueprint Entertainment has a green light from Teletoon for 26 half-hours of the live-action tween comedy Go-Girl. The production represents the first Teletoon original production that combines live-action and animation.

The series will begin filming this fall and is slated to go to air in fall 2009. Oasis International is distributing the series worldwide. Go-Girl tells the story of a town that elects 15-year-old Becky Smith as mayor.

Blueprint is one of four companies recently acquired by conglom Entertainment One, pending shareholder approval.
