Kim Cattrall has joined the voice cast for Producing Parker, a Canwest primetime animated sitcom from Breakthrough Entertainment and Philippine Animation Studio.

Fresh from a box office hit in Sex in the City: The Movie and news of a her new HBO sex-themed series, Cattrall is to provide the voice of Dee, the high-maintenance host of The Dee Show, a daytime talk show that sells viewers the myth of having it all.

The first 13 half-hours of the animated comedy about a harried day-time talk show production team also has the voices of Kristin Booth (MVP) as Parker Kovak, an over-worked and underpaid producer, Aaron Abrams (Slings & Arrows) as the cynical copywriter, and Peter Keleghan as the charismatic station owner.

Producing Parker will air on E! next spring and will also run on TVtropolis. The series was created by Laura Kosterski (Naked Josh) and Breakthrough’s Kevin Gillis and Carolyn Newman.
