Lisa de Wilde and Peter O’Brian have re-upped at TVOntario, which this week gave three-year contract extensions to both execs, applauding their efforts to reshape the educational channel.
De Wilde will stay on as CEO, while O’Brian maintains his spot as chairman of the board. Both have served in their respective positions since 2005.
The educaster, which takes its cues from the provincial government, says it is pleased with de Wilde’s push for more viewer input and participation, as well as her ongoing moves to switch to more digital and interactive production.
‘As someone who is passionate about the potential of digital educational media to engage citizens in our society, I’m delighted to be heading up a team that is so committed to impacting people’s lives in a meaningful way,’ she said in a statement.
