Citytv is set to premiere the new family-friendly game show My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad, simulcast with NBC, in a little less than two weeks.

The high-energy competition is hosted by Dan Cortese (MTV Sports) and gives everyday dads and their offspring the chance to compete as a team against others for prize money and bragging rights.

The eight-part series premieres on Monday, Feb. 18. In Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver, it will fill the 8 p.m. timeslot, while viewers in Calgary and Edmonton can tune in at 9 p.m.

Some of those slots were previously announced for Make Me a Supermodel. Citytv has also moved Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious to 8 p.m. in Calgary and Edmonton.

My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad is a production of Reveille, Mark Burnett Productions and Hotchkiss Industries. Burnett (Survivor) is executive producer.
