Iggy spreads to France, Asia

The antics of pig ranger Iggy Arbuckle and his beaver sidekick Jiggers will play out on TV screens across France, Korea, the Philippines and Australia after several deals closed by Oasis International in conjunction with National Geographic Television.

Iggy Arbuckle was picked up by broadcasters Canal+ SA and TPS in France, The Cartoon Network in South East Asia, Korea, the Philippines, India and Australia/New Zealand, as well as ABC in Australia.

They join Jetic Europe, which recently acquired the European pay-TV rights, and the U.S. channel Animania. Iggy airs here on Teletoon.

The animated kids series, which follow’s Iggy’s quest to protect and care for the Kookamunga National Park, has become Oasis’ best-selling kids program. It is produced by Toronto- and L.A.-based Blueprint Entertainment, in association with National Geographic Kids Entertainment.
