Scot hooks up with Seville

Seville Entertainment has added Breakfast with Scot to its international sales catalogue, and is currently pitching the Laurie Lynd comedy at the American Film Market.

Scot follows a discreet gay couple — Eric, an ex-Toronto Maple Leaf, and Sam, the team’s lawyer — whose lives are turned upside down when they become the guardians of an 11-year-old boy. The film stars Tom Cavanagh (Ed), Noah Bernett (Gothika), Graham Greene (Luna: Spirit of the Whale) and Ben Shenkman (Then She Found Me).

‘We’re proud to have joined up with Seville to promote and sell the film… we truly believe we made an original and unique family film,’ commented producer Paul Brown in a release.

‘I loved this film from the minute I first saw it. It’s an original, funny and heartwarming story that will most definitely be a crowd pleaser,’ added Seville VP of international sales Anick Poirier.

Scot opens Nov. 16 in Toronto and Vancouver through Mongrel Media and Capri Releasing.
