Peace Arch has signed a deal with Insight Film Studios to distribute four pictures in theaters and on DVD in 2008, starting with the Matthew Perry comedy Numb. The picture, with the former Friends star as a depressed screenwriter, is due on the big screen in winter 2008.

The deal also includes When a Man Falls in the Forest, starring Sharon Stone and Timothy Hutton, the Wesley Snipes action pic Operation Espionage and Higher Education with Steven Seagal.

Each title ‘is a star vehicle with great appeal to their respective fan followings and we are confident they will be well received,’ said Berry Meyerowitz, president of Peace Arch Home Entertainment, in a statement.

When a Man Falls in the Forest is due on DVD on Jan. 8. Operation Espionage, which has Snipes reprising his role from 2000’s The Art of War, is in pre-production now and expected on DVD in summer 2008. Higher Education is also in prep, and is also due on DVD by summer.
