Incendo, Lord playing House

Quebec director Jean-Claude Lord is scheduled to wrap Summer House, an MOW for Montreal’s Incendo Productions and Power in the U.K., following a three- to four-week shoot in Montreal. Slated to air on The Movie Network, Movie Central and Super Écran, the story follows Lindsay Price (Coupling, Beverly Hills, 90210) as a pregnant woman dogged by an apparent family curse, and also features David Haydn-Jones (Fatal Trust) and Sadie LeBlanc (Rumors).

Lord, best known in Quebec for Lance et compte (He Shoots, He Scores), has been largely absent from English screens for more than a decade, though his credits include the features Eddie and the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives! and the 1982 thriller Visiting Hours, which starred Michael Ironside and William Shatner.

‘We’ve had many discussions with Jean-Claude over the years and we are pleased that schedules were finally able to be coordinated,’ said Incendo president Jean Bureau in a statement.
