Bell ExpressVu is preparing to turn out its own entertainment news show during the Toronto International Film Festival, and on Monday announced plans for Festival Access, a daily half-hour in the works at its offshoot Vu! Productions.

The show will run for the duration of the festival, Sept 6-15, going to ExpressVu subscribers for free in both HD and standard video. Angela Coates and Garry Murdock of Vu! will exec produce, working with director/producer David Dupont and talent wrangler Mario Tassone.

‘There will not be a red carpet, party or press conference that Festival Access will not be a part of,’ said Coates in a release.

ExpressVu’s parent Bell Canada is one of the top sponsors of TIFF.
