• Decode Entertainment has sold the pay-TV rights for Franny’s Feet to Disney Channel in Germany. The entire 78 x 11 series has also been picked up by Cartoon Network Korea and renewed at Cartoon Network Taiwan. A line of Franny’s toys, games and other merchandise is due to hit stores in 2008. The Toronto shop has also sold its 65 x 30 series Naturally, Sadie to Nickelodeon UK, ABC in Australia, Ireland’s RTE, UAE’s E-Vision and ATV in Hong Kong.

• Program Partners has sold Terminal City to the Sundance Channel. The 10-part miniseries, produced here by Crescent Entertainment and Big Dog Productions, is set to air early in 2008. The U.S. company has also sold ReGenesis in 75% of the U.S. markets, putting the Shaftesbury Films production in place for a syndication run starting in the fall.

• This is Daniel Cook (39 x 6) and This is Emily Yeung (39 x 6) have been picked up by the Disney Channel Japan, following a deal struck by marblemedia and Sinking Ship Entertainment that will see the kiddie series distributed in more than 75 countries.

• Cookie Jar Entertainment has signed a home video distribution deal with Vivendi Visual Entertainment. Vivendi will distribute and license Cookie Jar’s Magi-Nation, Will & Dewitt, Busytown Mysteries, Spider Ryders and Gerald McBoing Boing. Cookie has also inked a VOD deal with L.A.-based TVN Entertainment, which will distribute shows including White Fang and The Busy World of Richard Scarry.
