Decode Entertainment has sold Franny’s Feet to The Disney Channel in Germany, closing its first broadcast deal in the country and securing a key market for the preschooler series, according to Decode Enterprises president Neil Court.
‘With new television sales alongside recent licensing deals for toys and books, the property has great momentum for further merchandising and licensing deals worldwide,’ said Court in a statement on Monday.
The entire series (78 x 11) has also been picked up by Cartoon Network Korea and renewed at Cartoon Network Taiwan. Deals have also been struck recently with TVP1 in Poland and MBC3 in the Middle East. A line of Franny’s toys, games and other merchandise is due to hit stores in 2008.
