Leelee Sobieski (The Wicker Man) stars along with Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) in the comedy thriller Walk All Over Me, in which the former assumes her roommate’s dominatrix identity in order to pay the bills.
The $3-million picture shoots this month in Winnipeg, produced by local shop Eagle Vision, Montreal’s Les Productions Colin Neale and Calgary’s Chaos A Film Company (Turning Paige). Robert Cuffley (Turning Paige) directs from a script cowritten with frequent collaborator Jason Long.
‘Robert and I couldn’t be happier with the timing because of the cast we have,’ said Chaos principal Carolyn McMaster in a release. McMaster exec produces with Kyle Irving (Capote) and Colin Neale (Margaret’s Museum).
The film will be carried in Canada by Capri Releasing and by IndustryWorks Distribution in the U.S.
