Blueprint Entertainment has hired seasoned TV execs Marla Ginsburg and Ellie Hannibal in an effort to ramp up its production and development, posting them to the prodco’s Los Angeles office.
Ginsburg joins Blueprint as SVP responsible for developing, packaging and managing content for television and new media, reporting to principals John Morayniss and Noreen Halpern. Previously she ran the international television division for French studio Gaumont, where she developed the hit U.S. series La Femme Nikita, based on the feature film by Luc Besson.
‘Marla is a perfect fit for Blueprint given her experience and relationships both in the U.S. and in the international marketplace,’ said Morayniss, Blueprint’s chairman and CEO, in a Monday release.
Hannibal takes the role of SVP of creative affairs, focusing on development and production of one-hour and half-hour television series for U.S. cable and broadcast networks. Prior to joining Blueprint, Hannibal was head of development for Star Trek executive producer Rick Berman.
