Toronto-based producer and distributor Ellis Entertainment has tapped former Proper Television and Red Apple Entertainment employee Sean Connolly as development director for expanding slates at its Ellis Vision and VisionTV International.

‘We’re delighted to welcome Sean to the company, with his industry knowledge and experience, as Ellis Entertainment continues in expansion mode in the original content arena,’ said Ellis president Stephen Ellis in a release.

Connolly’s prior clients include Discovery Channel, Life Network, CBC and Channel 4 International.
