Post-production house The Juggernaut has hired editors Aaron Dark and Marcus Valentin, putting them to work in a newly expanded studio in downtown Toronto.

Both are known for recent work in commercials – Dark for cutting spots for Skittles, Heinz and the recent ‘World of Comedy’ ads for Taxi, while Valentin worked on the ‘Shaolin’ Delissio Pizza and Advil’s ‘Big Talker’ ads, among others.

Juggernaut cofounder Craig Small tells Playback Daily that their work will include longer-form projects, noting that Valentin is cutting the new CBC comedy Not This But That, featuring comedian Samantha Bee.

‘Both have a wickedly funny edge to their work, and both of them know how and when to pull out all the stops with their clients,’ he says.
